Web15 Jul 2024 · On the wavelight dac there are three i2s modes to choose from. Not sure Wavedream has the same modes. Select i2s mode 2 and the channels no longer are reversed. I too have a PF i2s card with the top level clock I seem to be shying away from i2s and almost prefer USB. 87mpi and Zurv 1 1 Zurv 40 Posted June 22, 2024 Web28 Aug 2024 · Gustard R26 Discrete ($1650) VS Gustard X26 PRO ($1500) Build quality wise, both are carved on CNC machines with very tight tolerance numbers, they both look and feel like expensive units. Although in terms of looks, I’ll give an edge to the R26 Discrete which looks sleeker and more elegant.

Web30 Jul 2024 · When I first got the Wavelight, before Rockna released the firmware upgrade and I added the P12 power plant and Cardas Reflection cabling to my system, I only used the NOS filter. It was kind of a crutch to deal with the Wavelight sound that I thought was a bit too accurate/bright. Web18 Jun 2024 · I have begun the face-off between the Rockna Wavelight and the Denafrips Terminator Plus. Both are R2R DACs, but they’re very different sounding. They’re equally great with details. So far the major differences are: Terminator Plus = richer and smoother, Wavelight = livelier and more dynamic.

Web26 Dec 2024 · Some info on rockna i2s settings: You can change the mode (channel swap) Hitting the RPT button on the remote switched between between Rockna mode (HDlink1r) and PS Audio mode (HDlink1p) The setting applies per i2s interface. ie, you can have different settings for each of the i2s inputs. this feature was added in the firmware 480.
