I have seen some big differences in loads worked up in the winter then shot in the summer with some powders. 748 is the powder of the devil when it gets hot. I believe AR-comp is more comparable to RL15 burn rate but more temp stable. RL16 is closer to RL17 and H4350 burn rates and might be on the slow side in a 308 unless shooting heavier bullets. I will say that this new powder shares nothing in common with the old IMR 8208, The old stuff is a lot hotter. I would say that it is closer to burn rate to 4895.
