You can play with setting the scale on caltopo when you generate the PDF to see what you like.

Webbackcountryshredder • 3 yr. ago. I've got some amazing tips on Caltopo. I probably spend 30 mins - 1 hour on it per day planning trips, so I've got a ton of experience with it. In my opinion, the satellite imagery is the most useful feature. I use it to check snow patches in spring/summer to find good descents.
